08.12.2022

News about Tampere’s eventful super summer 2023 have been received with great enthusiasm at the airBaltic headquarters. Now, airBaltic will be focusing on further improving its connections to the airline’s Tampere base for next summer and safely flying participants from all over the world to the EMG2023.

airBaltic opened a new base at Tampere-Pirkkala Airport in early 2022 thus strengthening the city’s global connectivity with a variety of direct flight routes. airBaltic’s easy and affordable flight options will be serving the almost 10 000 participants arriving in Tampere for EMG2023 with expertise and experience.

“In early May 2022, airBaltic successfully launched its first base outside the Baltics in Tampere, Finland and now connects the city with a total of 8 direct destinations. The base provides new, convenient travel opportunities for our passengers from Tampere and the region – in addition to more than 70 destinations in Europe and beyond via airBaltic’s home base in Riga, Latvia. We are pleased with the positive feedback and the passenger demand on the direct routes from Tampere,” says Jan Nyholm, Head of Sales, Finland, Sweden and Norway at airBaltic.
